Hello. I'm not really sure what I'm doing here.
See, my friends all have these cute blogs filled with pictures of their children, cupcakes, flowers, butterflies and other beautiful things. They have delightful, dainty, quippy blogs. They search for new, similar, delightful, dainty, quippy blogs and I want to be one of those! A shiny new blog with interesting, funny, and insightful posts that will change your life! ...or something like that.
I've had blogs before. 4 to be exact. One filled with teenage angst. One decent one with meaningful things, but was overtaken with reblogged pictures...you know the cutesy landscape photos with quotes written on them. I was addicted. *shivers* Another blog was semi-private, used to vent frustrations and anger. Lastly, a phlog (Read: photo blog) that I started ignoring because I got lazy and got tired of taking billions of pictures of babies, rain, and my cat.
But NO MORE, I declare! This blog will be kept up. I will write positive things. I will be AMUSING...ENTERTAINING...and maybe even DAINTY! *gasp*
I was talking to my friend Kristen about it and she suggested that this blog remain consistent with Philippians 4:8:
"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things."
So that's my purpose. This blog will be positive. I hope you'll follow me through this adventure of sorts. And I hope good things come of it.
